What is UGC, and what does a UGC creator do?+
UGC (user-generated content) is short video or photo content that looks like a real customer made it: reviews, unboxings, demos, 'day in my life'. A UGC creator is paid by a brand to film it. The brand then posts it or runs it as an ad — usually not on the creator's own account.
Can you make money doing UGC in 2026?+
Yes — brands keep paying for content that looks native on TikTok and Instagram, and most of it now runs as ads. Right now our feed has 651 gigs with a stated rate. It is also more competitive than in 2023: creators who pitch with a clear sample and a fair rate get replies; mass, generic applications don't. Earnings vary a lot and nothing is guaranteed.
How much does a UGC creator make per video?+
Across the paid gigs in our feed, the median offer is about €30 per video. Offers range from about €1 to €690. What you earn depends on your niche, the usage rights (paid ads are worth more) and how many gigs you land each month. Most new creators earn less than the median at first. Live numbers are on our UGC rates page.
How do I start UGC with no experience?+
1) Film three short sample videos with products you already own — a hook in the first 2 seconds, natural light, captions. 2) Put them on one portfolio page. 3) Apply to beginner-friendly gigs with a short pitch that names the product and the angle you'd film. 4) Get the fee, deadline and usage rights in writing before you film. UGC Finders' free plan builds you a step-by-step 60-day plan for this.
Can I do UGC without followers?+
Yes. In UGC the brand posts your video or runs it as an ad, so your follower count rarely matters — your videos do. Gigs that need you to post on your own account (influencer-style) say so on the card.
Can you do UGC faceless?+
Yes, some of it: hands-only demos, unboxings, screen recordings for apps, voiceovers and product B-roll. Many paid gigs do want a face on camera, so being comfortable with it gives you more options. You can mark your styles in your profile and we match you accordingly.
How and when do UGC creators get paid?+
The brand pays you directly — bank transfer, PayPal, Revolut or Wise — per video, per views, monthly, or a mix. Most pay 15 or 30 days after delivery (net 15 / net 30); views-based deals pay after the counting period. Agree the date in writing and invoice the day you deliver. We never take a cut of what a brand pays you.
Who owns the UGC video — me or the brand?+
You do, unless you sell it outright. Normally you grant the brand a licence: which channels (organic, paid ads), for how long, and whether they can run ads from your handle (whitelisting). Anything beyond the licence is a new fee. Our contract templates spell this out and protect your face and voice from AI reuse.
Is UGC Finders free?+
Yes. A profile, your AI plan, browsing gigs, AI-written applications and the contract templates are free (free accounts send up to 3 applications a month). Pro is €19/month after a 7-day free trial: the full live feed, filters, more applications and daily gig drops.
Are the gigs legit? How do you check them?+
We aggregate public opportunities from across the web. Before a gig reaches the feed we look the brand up, show what we found on the card, and hold back anything with scam patterns: upfront fees, 'buy the product first', crypto or gift-card pay, or moving you to WhatsApp before anything is agreed.
Which countries and languages do you cover?+
We focus on creators across Europe — in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and more — and many gigs are open worldwide. Every card says where a gig is open and in which language.
How do I cancel Pro?+
In one click from your account, any time — including during the 7-day trial, in which case you pay nothing.
