Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

UGC Finders (ugcfinders.com) helps UGC creators find paid gigs. This page explains what personal data we handle and why. We keep it to the minimum the product needs, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address. If you sign in with Google we also receive your Google account ID and name (scopes: openid, email, profile). We don't get your password or access to your Google data beyond that.
  • Creator profile: whatever you choose to fill in on your account page — niches, styles, languages, country, rates, payout preferences, audience size, portfolio links and bio.
  • Billing: if you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes the payment. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and status, never your card details.
  • Usage: anonymous analytics (Google Analytics) about page views and clicks, used to improve the site.

Why we use it

  • To sign you in and keep your session (a signed cookie, 30 days).
  • To match gigs to your profile and send the drops you sign up for.
  • To manage your subscription.

Legal bases (GDPR): performance of the contract for your account and subscription, consent for newsletters, and legitimate interest for anonymous analytics.

Who processes it

  • MongoDB Atlas (database, EU — Ireland)
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • Resend (sign-in and drop emails)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Google (sign-in with Google, Analytics)

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Email hello@ugcfinders.com from the address on your account and we'll handle it within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Retention

We keep your account until you ask us to delete it. Sign-in links expire after 30 minutes and are then removed. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
