UGC rates: how much brands actually pay

No surveys, no guesswork: these numbers are computed from the paid gigs in our feed and update as new ones land. Use them to price your next pitch — and to spot offers that undervalue your work.

Median offer

$200

per paid listing

Typical range

$55–$500

25th to 75th percentile

Top of market

$980+

90th percentile

Based on 153 gigs with a stated cash rate, out of 272 in the feed. 49 also ship free product; 23 paid in product only (no cash). Median per video: $50.

How to read these numbers

These are opening offers brands post publicly. They skew low: public call-outs attract volume, and bigger budgets get negotiated privately. Treat the median as your floor, not your target — then add usage rights, whitelisting and exclusivity on top.

What moves your rate up

Usage rights

Organic posting on the brand's own account is the baseline. Paid ads, longer licence windows or perpetual rights are worth more — always price them as a separate line, never bundle them in silently.

Whitelisting / Spark Ads

If the brand runs ads from your handle, they borrow your account's trust. That is a separate fee, usually per month of access.

Raw footage & hooks

Extra hook variations and unedited clips let the brand cut more ads from one shoot. Charge for them as add-ons.

Exclusivity

Agreeing not to work with competitors for a period costs you future income. It should never be free.

Revisions & turnaround

Agree on the number of revision rounds up front. Rush delivery is a premium, not a favour.

Gifted product ≠ payment

Product is a cost of doing the job. Treat 'free product' gigs as unpaid unless there is a cash rate on top.

Methodology

UGC Finders continuously aggregates public creator call-outs. Dollar figures are parsed from each gig's compensation text; ranges count at their midpoint. Commission-only and gifted-only gigs are excluded from rate stats. No private contract or payout data is used. The page refreshes every hour.

FAQ

How much do UGC creators charge per video?

It depends on niche, usage rights and deliverables. The table above shows the live median per-video rate across the paid gigs in our feed, and the range from the lowest to the highest offer.

Where do these numbers come from?

They are computed automatically from the paid opportunities UGC Finders aggregates from public sources (Reddit, creator newsletters, job boards and brand calls). Only gigs that state a cash rate are counted. They are offers, not invoices.

Should I accept product-only (gifted) collaborations?

Only if it is a deliberate portfolio move. Gifted product does not pay rent — prioritise gigs with a cash rate, and price usage rights separately.

Do I need followers to get paid UGC work?

No. UGC is content the brand posts or runs as ads; many gigs explicitly have no follower minimum. Your portfolio matters more than your audience.
